FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What you get, what it costs, what we guarantee, and the things other services won't tell you.
01

What exactly do I get when I buy a package?

A distributed press release. You build the release in our guided editor, we review it, submit it to the distribution network for your package, and deliver a placement report with live links to where it published.

02

Do I need PR experience to use this?

No, and that's the point. The builder asks plain-English questions about your news and assembles a correctly formatted, AP-style release from your answers, with guidance at every step.

03

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once per release. Most customers come back when they have their next announcement, whether that is funding, a launch, or a hire. Nothing renews automatically.

04

How long does distribution take?

Typically 3–5 business days from submission, up to 7 for the widest package. If you set a future announcement date or need an embargo honored, we hold to it.

05

Where will my press release appear?

Across networks of 200–400+ news and media sites depending on package, including affiliates of AP News, Yahoo Finance, MSN, Benzinga, and Google News inclusion. Your placement report lists every live link.

06

Will journalists write stories about my news?

Distribution gets your news on the record, into search, and in front of newsrooms. It does not guarantee a journalist writes a story. Nobody can honestly guarantee editorial pickup. A well-built release maximizes your odds, which is exactly what the builder is for.

07

What is AI citation tracking?

On Discover packages and above, we check whether AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) cite your announcement when asked about your company or topic, and include the findings in your report. Distributed press coverage is one of the strongest inputs to AI answer visibility.

08

Can I save a draft and finish later?

Yes. Drafts save automatically to your account. You can build a release over multiple sessions and only pay when you're ready to distribute.

09

What if my release needs edits after I submit?

Our editorial review happens before anything goes to the wire. If something needs fixing, we flag it and work it out with you first. After distribution, corrections require a new release (that's a wire-industry constraint, not ours).

10

Do you offer refunds or guarantees?

Both. Before submission: full refund, any reason. After distribution: if your release wasn't published on your package's guaranteed minimum number of outlets, you get a full refund, and on Expanded, a refund if your release isn't cited in at least 2 AI-generated answers. A successfully distributed release can't be recalled from the wire, so there are no refunds for completed distributions that met the guarantee.
